Bluewater State School has two iconic buildings situated within its grounds.

The first school building was built over 60 years ago and is now the administration building and the other is the 'old principal’s house' which currently houses the tuckshop. These two buildings are recognised as rare and unique and were added to the Heritage List in 2017.

In 2010 the resource building was built under the 'Building Education Revolution' scheme. We have made the resource centre an inviting environment for a place of learning. The resource centre is open both breaks for students to build, play on the Wii, computer access, colour in and read books. The library is well used and a great addition to our school.
